With the introduction of the FGI 301 Titan is offering a free upgrade to the thermocouple option (a $208 value)! The FGI 301 comes standard with a flame rod to detect the PRESENCE of the pilot flame, enabling burner shut-down within 4 seconds, as required by B149.3. One of the benefits of the optional thermocouple includes the measurement of flame QUALITY, offering better assurance of a quality pilot before attempting main burner ignition.

The FGI 301/FMI 100 Burner Management System has been developed specifically for atmospheric burners. It is compliant to the requirements of the B149.3 Code. Designed and manufactured by Titan Logix (Nagy Burner Control), the original developers of the industry preferred FGI 100, 201, and 202 for the Western Canadian oil and gas industry. The FGI 301/FMI 100 controls the fuel gas and monitors the pilot flame. A DC voltage spark generator and electrode supply an ignition spark. If there is a flame fail or safety interlock condition the fuel gas is promptly shut off. Residual fuel is given time to purge before the FGI 301/FMI 100 attempts to restart the pilot.
