When centrifugal pumps are not moving fluids, the case and impeller reach extremely high temperatures. The Pyro-Plug detects high temperatures and shuts down the motor or control circuit.
Numerous temperature ranges are available for various applications. The Pyro-Plug is CSA approved for use in hazardous environments.
